CarsBook is for dealers who trade with dealers.

If you buy and sell used cars through other dealerships rather than to walk-in customers, CarsBook is built around your workflow. If you sell mainly to end customers, a retail portal is still the right tool - and this is not it.

What CarsBook does for you

What does CarsBook do for a dealer?

  • You see real dealer stock, not retail noise. Every listing belongs to an approved dealership with a name, a city and a phone number.
  • You find the exact car a customer asked for. Filter the whole network by make, model, year, fuel, kilometres, price, city and state.
  • You sell into a dealer audience. Other dealers are actively buying, so your car reaches people who will actually take it.
  • You keep every rupee of the margin. CarsBook introduces you and keeps the record. Payment and RC transfer happen directly between the two dealers.
  • You build a reputation that travels. An approved profile, a clean history and private documents make the next deal easier to close.
What you earn

How does a dealer earn on CarsBook?

  • Buy the car your customer wants, not the car that is easy. Stop turning away work because the stock is not in your city.
  • See other dealers' cars and sell yours to them. List your own inventory and reach dealers who are sourcing for their own buyers.
  • Negotiate on the record. Make an offer, counter, and accept inside the app, so both sides always agree on the number.
  • Close more of what you find. A verified buyer dealer with a live plan is a serious counterparty, not a tyre-kicker.
  • Turn faster at no extra cost. There is no commission on the vehicle, so every rupee of the spread stays with you.

The dealer workflow

What does a normal week on CarsBook look like?

This is the loop most dealers end up running, and the reason the product is shaped the way it is.

  1. A customer asks for a specific car

A retail customer wants a specific variant. You know the make, model, budget, city and rough kilometres.

  2. Search the network

Filter CarsBook by make, model, year, fuel, km, price and city. Shortlist two or three verified dealers.

  3. Check the listing

Review photos, specs, ownership and location. Request documents privately through the listing dealer.

  4. Chat, then offer

Ask questions in the vehicle's thread, then send a formal offer. The seller can accept or counter.

  5. Counter and agree

Negotiate in the offer timeline until both sides are on the same number. The history stays attached to the car.

  6. Who handles the payment and RC?

Inspection, payment and RC transfer happen directly between you and the other dealer. CarsBook does not handle vehicle money.

Getting in

How does dealer verification work?

CarsBook only works if both sides of a trade are real businesses. That is why the marketplace stays closed until your registration has been reviewed by the CarsBook team.

  • Pending
  • Under review
  • Approved
  • What you submit - business name, owner name, mobile, email, address, city, state and pincode.
  • What happens next - the CarsBook team reviews the registration, usually within 24 - 48 hours.
  • If you are rejected - the app shows the reason, and you can contact support to resolve it.
  • What approval gives you - marketplace access, a free plan that never expires, and 1 car listing at a time.

Is the free plan really free?

Yes, and it never expires. It gives you 1 car listing at a time, and browsing, filtering and contacting dealers are free for everyone regardless of plan, with no limit and no expiry.

Are my documents published?

Documents attached to your listings are never public. Buyers ask, and you decide whether to share.

Is the negotiation history kept?

Offers and counters stay attached to the vehicle, so the next dealer you speak to can see the negotiation you already had.

Listing limits

How many cars can I list on each plan?

Every plan includes the same product. The only thing that changes is how many cars you can have live at the same time.

Listing capacity and what each stage of the dealer lifecycle allows.
Stage Duration Can browse Live listings Chat & offers
Free Plan No expiry Yes - full network 1 Yes
Starter 30 days Yes 1 Yes
Basic 30 days Yes 3 Yes
Broker 30 days Yes 7 Yes
Dealer 30 days Yes 15 Yes

The free plan costs nothing and never expires. It includes 1 car listing at a time. Your car goes live when you add it and stays live for 30 days; you cannot remove it during those 30 days, and when they are up it is taken down automatically and the slot opens again for your next car. That cycle repeats for as long as you stay free.

Reaching the cap is a feature. A fixed listing limit is what keeps the marketplace dealer-first: fewer duplicates, fresher stock and listings that can actually be traded.
