1. What this website stores

Nothing. The pages on this website are static files. Opening a page, following a link or moving between pages does not create a record tied to you on our systems.

  • No local or session storage. Nothing is written to your browser storage by this site.
  • No analytics, no advertising pixels, no social trackers. We do not embed third-party scripts that follow you between sites.
  • No contact form. There is no form on this website that posts anywhere. To reach us you use the email address or phone number on the contact page.

The only thing our hosting server records is an ordinary web server access log, such as the page requested and the time. That is standard for any website and is not linked to a dealer account.

2. What the CarsBook app stores on your phone

The Android app is a different matter from this website, and it is worth being precise.

  • Your session. The app keeps you signed in on your device so you do not have to log in each time.
  • Your dealer profile and listings as you entered them, so the app works even on a slow connection.
  • Images you picked for a listing, until the upload finishes.

Your password is never stored on the device in a readable form, and we cannot read it. Uninstalling the app removes what it stored locally. Your account itself lives on our servers, not on your phone, and is governed by the privacy policy.

3. Push notifications

Push notifications only work in the installed app. Notifications are delivered by the Android operating system, which routes them through the user's own device settings. We send the notification; we do not use it to track you and we do not read your notification content.

4. Third parties on this website

The site loads one external resource: web fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers and Google sees your IP address as part of that request. No other external service is contacted.

We have kept external services to a minimum on purpose. This is why the site needs no cookie consent banner.

5. If this ever changes

If we later introduce analytics, advertising or anything that stores information on your device, we will:

  • update this page first, before the change goes live,
  • ask for consent where the law requires it,
  • show a consent banner so the choice is yours, and
  • list every cookie and every purpose, one line each, with how long it lasts.

We will not quietly add tracking to a site that currently has none.

6. How to clear what is already stored
