Installation

How do I install the CarsBook APK on Android?

Because the APK is not distributed through the Play Store, Android asks you to allow installation from your browser once. After that, updates are manual - always from this page.

  1. Download the APKTap the download card above. The file is saved to your phone's Downloads folder.
  2. Open the downloaded fileTap the file in Downloads, or open it from your browser's download list.
  3. Allow installation from this sourceAndroid will show a warning about installing unknown apps. Allow it for the browser or file manager you are using, then continue.
  4. Install, open and sign inConfirm the install, launch CarsBook and sign in with the dealer account you registered.

Notifications need the installed app. Push notifications for new messages, offers and listing activity work in the installed CarsBook APK. They do not work in Expo Go or in a mobile browser. If you rely on alerts, install the APK and sign in there.

What do I need before installing?

  • An Android phone with enough free storage for roughly 83 MB plus app data
  • A stable mobile or Wi-Fi connection for the initial download
  • Your dealer account details, ready for registration
  • Permission to install apps from your browser when Android asks

What if the installation fails?

  • The download did not start - try the link again, or disable any download blocker
  • Installation is blocked - allow "install unknown apps" for the browser you downloaded from
  • No notifications - make sure you are signed in inside the installed app and that notifications are allowed in Android settings
  • Still stuck - call or email dealer support and we will walk you through it
